Eidos Interactive’s Tomb Raider: Legend Mobile won the award for Best Mobile Action Game at the 2007 Spike Video Game awards, as well as a nomination for Mobile Game of the Year.
An adaptation of the 2006 console title, Legend features full 3D graphics and allows Lara to jump, roll, shoot, sidestep, climb, and use a grappling hook. It uses a custom engine designed to take full advantage of the capabilities of 3D handsets. The game was the first part of Eidos’ planned expansion into the mobile space.
Another Eidos game, Prism: Light the Way, was nominated for best casual mobile game.
