Shadow Light Games has announced that they have entered into a deal to develop games based on Player One’s sports licenses.
The exclusive partnership covers the development of 10 games over the next two years. Current licenses are included as well as any licenses Player One acquires in the future. Shadow Light will develop games based on the franchises Ronnie O’Sullivan, Freddie Flintoff, and Steve Danis, with more to be announced later this year.
“Securing this output deal with Player One is a tremendous step forward for raising the profile of Shadow Light Gamesâ€, said Aamar Rana, managing director at Shadow Light Games. “Consumer interest in mobile gaming has exploded over the last year and the demand for high quality games that provide the console experience is stronger than ever. We feel that with our heritage in game development and Player One’s talent, market know-how in sports and global distribution network, this deal will firmly put Shadow Light Games on the map as a premier league developer.â€
Shadow Light Games first started working with Player One in 2004, and has developed titles such as Ronnie O’Sullivan Snooker 2007 and Freddie Flintoff All-Round Cricket.
