Ojom releases Men In Black - Alien Assault

Ojom has announced Men In Black - Alien Assault, a new action game. The game is based on the universe of the Men In Black movies, although it follows its own plot instead of that of one of the films. Players take control of one of the agents and hunt down unidentified creatures that are causing havoc in New York. You’ll have an arsenal of weaponry to combat the aliens, plus extraterrestrial weaponry and artifacts. Ojom launches King of Zing

Ojom has announced the launch of a new puzzle game called King of Zing.Players take control of a bouncing rubber ball and attempt to guide it to the level’s exit without leaving the game field and being flung into oblivion. The puzzle mode features 250 levels with 4 difficulty levels, while the arcade mode is all about maximizing score and survival mode lets you see how far you can go with only one ball.

Ojom releases Romeo and Juliet

Ojom is ringing in Valentine’s Day with the launch of Romeo and Juliet. Players take control of Romeo on his quest to save sweet Juliet from her father, who has imprisoned her in his castle. The platforming game has Romeo sneaking, sprinting, and fighting through the guards of the castle to reach Juliet. After he reaches her, he then has to turn around and fight his way back out of the castle.

Magnum P.I. comes to mobiles

Ojom has announced the launch of a mobile game version of Magnum P.I.

Players take control of Thomas Magnum, the iconic Navy Seal-turned-private investigator, scouring Hawaii for criminals. The adventure game features 20 levels, including bonus levels, and easy, intuitive controls. Magnum will run automatically, and players use the control pad to jump, slide, and adjust his position.

“Magnum P.I is an exciting addition to our range of mobile game titles,” said Marc Buße, Channel Manager of Ojom GmbH. “Many people will remember the immensely popular and iconic 80s TV series. This is an exhilarating and addictive jump ‘n’ run style game that we hope will appeal to a cross section of mobile gamers.”

The game is available on Java-enabled handsets from major operators in a range of European languages.

Maya - Secrets of the Temple now available for iPhone

Ojom has announced that they have modified their game Maya - Secrets of the Temple to work with Apple’s iPhone.

The game is comprised of a series of puzzles. Each puzzle is made up of a cluster of triangles with varying colors in each corner. The puzzle is solved by flipping or rotating the triangles to form a pattern where the corresponding colors are connected to each other. Modifications to the game allow iPhone users to use the touchscreen while playing the game.

“This is a great opportunity for Ojom to show that we can adapt and innovate to suit new technologies,” said Thomas Brockhage, Ojom’s general manager. “Maya was one of our most popular games and is perfect for the iPhone’s touch sensitive screen. We are proud to release our first game specifically adapted for the iPhone.”

Ojom releases Manager Pro Football 2008

Ojom has announced the release of Manager Pro Football 2008, the first new release in the series since the 2006 edition.

Players take on the role of the manager of a football team, controlling everything from finances to training, with the eventual goal being to make it to the top of the masters division and become league champions. The 2008 edition introduces new features to the series, such as an experience points system, player health values, and more.

Ojom releases E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial

Ojom has announced the release of a video game based on E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.

Fans of the movie, assuming they weren’t burned by the old Atari game, can join everyone’s favorite alien and his best friend, Elliot, in 42 mini-games. As players beat more and more mini-games, they will collect pieces that can be used to build a machine allowing E.T. to “phone home.” Mini-games take their theme from scenes in the movie: bike rides, hiding in Elliot’s cupboard, E.T. dressed a girl, and more.

“This game encapsulates all of the great memories from the cult classic movie underpinned with challenging and exciting games,” said Thomas Brockhage, managing director of Ojom. “The games include many classic formats that have universal appeal, and with the addition of E.T. it bridges all generation gaps.”

Ojom releases Mobile IQ Trainer

German publisher Ojom has announced the release of a new brain teaser called Mobile IQ Trainer.

Ojom states that the game can improve both brain processing speed and IQ with a number of games involving arithmetic, algebra, spatial thinking, memory, and logic puzzles. An in-game guide named Bob helps players find their way around the game.

“This is a fun packed and addictive game which gives the player a fun and intellectually rewarding gaming challenge,” said Marc Buße, channel manager at Ojom. “With a combination of skill and logic the player can hone their IQ potential and have great competitive fun at the same time.”

The game is available now in portals throughout Europe.

Ojom releases Cubes

Ojom has announced the release of Cubes, a new pirate-themed puzzle game.

The game is set in the days of piracy on the high seas. Gamers take on the role of a pirate in a search for buried treasure. To find it, you’ll drop 3D colored cubes into the sea. Line the blocks up in the correct sequence and they’ll explode, making room for more blocks.

“Love it or loathe it but the block style format was the first type of game that had universal appeal, it is such a simple format to understand and it can be played by anyone from your best friend to your parents,” said Marc Buße, channel manager at Ojom. “This is a fun and addictive game that will appeal to casual gamers and mobile users that have a passion for pirates and searching for buried treasure.”
