The Nokia E71 makes its New York debut

The Nokia E71 hands on

The Nokia E71 is a great balance between good media device and ultimate efficiency

The Nokia E71 made its debut at Nokia’s flagship store in New York. Why are we happy? Because the E71 is rocking some solid media features: a 3.2 megapixel camera with good video capabilities, up to 8gb MicroSD and a front camera for video calling.

Also, we’re happy because it makes some for some good efficiency with Easy-to-configure email, including support for both email including Mail for Exchange and Intellisync as well as the most popular consumer email services like Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail, combined with real-time access to calendar information, contacts and to-do lists.

Oh yeah and it’s $500 unsubsidized. Not too bad.

Nokia N78 now available in New York and Chicago

The N78, which is one of the lower-end phones in the Nokia NSeries, can now be purchased at Nokia flagship sotres in Chicago and New York. Remember, the N78 is packing HSDPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera and A-GPS. The phone will cost $560, so it isn’t clear why people will be going for the N78 rather than an iPhone. You may just be a die hard Symbian fan.
