Every BlackBerry user has a special love for their BlackBerry theme of choice. As one of the few ways users can personalize their BlackBerry, it’s a pretty significant statement: do you choose something trendy like an iBerry theme, or relive your youth with a Super Mario Bros theme?

MySpace Mobile to offer free streaming video to mobile

Myspace Mobile now offers streaming video, bother user-gen and branded, to mobile. The service will be available for the BlackBerry Bold, Palm, Motorola Voyager, Nokia N95 and the Samsung Instinct. Notice no iPhone? That’s because the iPhone uses a different downloading method that MySpace opted out of in favor of a mobile ubiquitous downloading method.

MocoSpace connects 3 million users via mobile social networking

MocoSpace, the largest social network designed specifically for mobile phones, has passed the 3 million mark in registered users. The milestone follows a May report by browser company Opera ranking MocoSpace as the third most trafficked mobile site in the U.S. after MySpace and Google.

This will probably be the last in our “introductions” podcasts. In the last podcast we spoke with Simon Sage of BlackBerry Cool about BlackBerry entertainment. This podcast, we spoke with our major contributor Devin Kent all the way from Ottawa to Nashville. Vivendi Games Mobile announces MySpace contest

Vivendi Games Mobile has announced that they are hosting a contest on MySpace, the winners of which will appear in their upcoming game Surviving High School ‘07.

Users can enter the contest simply by adding the game’s MySpace page to their top 8 friends list. Five randomly selected winners will then have an avatar with their name and likeness appear in the game, as well as receiving a MOTOKRZR K1 phone pre-loaded with Surviving High School ‘07.

“This creative contest involves some of the most notable names in interactive entertainment and communication with Motorola, MySpace, a variety of wireless providers and Vivendi Games Mobile all coming together to select the next mobile gaming stars,” said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. “We wanted to take customization and community involvement to the next level and create one of the most unique opportunities imaginable for mobile gamers and MySpace users. Imagine the bragging rights the five lucky winners of this innovative promotion will have when they come to life as a character in Surviving High School ’07.”

The contest runs until 11:59 a.m. PST, May 14.
