I-play has announced that they have been nominated for a Meffy award for their game The Fast & Furious: Tokyo.
The Meffys are awards given by the Mobile Entertainment Forum (or MEF) to celebrate mobile gaming. I-play’s Fast & Furious: Tokyo is currently up for best game.
“We’re very proud of our Fast and Furious franchise and to have been short-listed for a Meffy is fantastic recognition for us. This game was developed by our internal team who continually raise the bar in terms of innovation, and in this instance were the first to recreate the popular ‘drifting’ phenomenon on mobile,” said David Gosen, I-play’s CEO. “‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo’ is one of the most successful games in I-play’s history to date and the franchise is unmatched by any other racing game on the mobile platform.”
