Glu’s Bonsai Blast, an all new action puzzle game, will be available only in the Android Market. This is a great addition to the list of games that are looking really sweet. The quality of games have been great so far and I’m expecting the Android Market to be a fierce competitor with the App Store.
Glu has announced an agreement with DreamWorks SKG to develop and publish the “Monsters vs. Aliens” mobile game. The game is set to launch in conjunction with the March 2009 film release. Tomorrow is the first official day of CTIA and Glu kicked off the night before with an awesome chef night. There were a few press, lots of Glu and mainly just friends getting reacquainted. The night went like this: The group of 20 or so attendees were split into 2 teams. Each team had a set list of ingredients and a set dessert. The ingredients included flank steak, potatoes, some herbs, corn and veggies. We then had to come up with a really delicious and impressive meal with those ingredients in 1 hour. The team with the best meal won sweet chef hats!

Glu announced that it is currently developing a new TRANSFORMERS mobile game, TRANSFORMERS G1: AWAKENING, scheduled to launch worldwide this Fall. Also, at the 2008 Comic-Con International, Glu unveiled SUPERMAN/BATMAN, a new game coming to mobile phones around the world this winter.

Glu has announced the global launch of The Dark Knight, a mobile game based on the highly-anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures live-action film, which opens in UK cinemas on July 24th. The launch of The Dark Knight marks the second title Glu has developed and published through its strategic worldwide partnership with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.
Glu has announced that Space Monkey, is available worldwide for iPhone and iPod touch from Apple’s App Store beginning today. Space Monkey is a casual mobile puzzle adventure game that includes challenges and techniques exclusively for these devices.

Ever wanted to punch Al Gore right in his tree-hugging grill? What about delivering a crippling right hook right to G.W.? I dream about it almost on the daily. So for all of us rage-aholics, Glu has released the awesome mobile game White House Rumble. It’s basically Super KO Boxing part deux and features all the best White House characters. Watch out for Cheney, he’s been hunting!
Glu Mobile is one of the top mobile game publishers, period (Super KO anyone?). So when Kyle and I ran into Jill Braff, Glu’s senior VP of Global Publishing, in the elevator after we arrived at Hyatt, we knew we had to get her on an interview podcast. So we promptly kidnapped her and forced her to talk about Glu’s global strategy, the realities of being a public company, how great the iPhone is, and when Super KO 2 is coming out. Enjoy.
