Glu mobile has published a single screenshot of their upcoming original Transformers game for iPhone.
Judging from single screenshot, the game is a polished port of an already released mobile game of the same title.
The gameplay has a similar style to that of the Advance Wars series for Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS. I would call it a turn-based strategy game with sweet battle animations depicting the battles.

Tricia Duryee is with paidContent.org and I had the pleasure of meeting her at a Glu press event in San Francisco. In any case, she interviewed Gonzague de Vallois of Gameloft about the state of mobile gaming and he had some interesting things to say.
Back when QuicklyBored first started, we were 100% mobile gaming. The industry was in a terrible state. The industry was bogged down with heavy royalty payments, inefficient distribution and seemingly never ending porting.

Glu’s Bonsai Blast, an all new action puzzle game, will be available only in the Android Market. This is a great addition to the list of games that are looking really sweet. The quality of games have been great so far and I’m expecting the Android Market to be a fierce competitor with the App Store.

Tomorrow is the first official day of CTIA and Glu kicked off the night before with an awesome chef night. There were a few press, lots of Glu and mainly just friends getting reacquainted. The night went like this: The group of 20 or so attendees were split into 2 teams. Each team had a set list of ingredients and a set dessert. The ingredients included flank steak, potatoes, some herbs, corn and veggies. We then had to come up with a really delicious and impressive meal with those ingredients in 1 hour. The team with the best meal won sweet chef hats!
