Gamevil has announced that they have released the 2007 version of their Baseball Superstars series.
The 2007 edition includes the original one-button gameplay of the original Baseball Superstars, but incorporates a number of new features. In the My League mode, you can design your own baseball player and train him all the way from a rookie to a seasoned veteran. Aside from boosting stats from training, you also have to pay attention to your player’s equipment, endorsements, autographs, and even dating life. Other game modes include Homerun Derby, and you can also advertise skills in Gamevil Live for all to see.
“Baseball Superstars 2007 fills a prominent gap in the mobile baseball game market. The title is positioned as a lighter arcade-style baseball game, yet it has the deepest features in its class,” said Allen G. Lee, Vice President, Business Development of GAMEVIL USA. “To reference one carrier exec, the look and feel of the game is reminiscent of a Super Nintendo game, which is amazing on a phone. Hitting the sweet spot of an untapped market, we are expecting great things from Baseball Superstars 2007.”
