Douglas Soltys

With a half-decade of experience in the wireless industry, Douglas “tr0n” Soltys has seen mobile entertainment quickly evolve from early childhood to its now impetuous teen years. The original founder of QuicklyBored in 2005, Douglas still acts as a contributing editor, but now spends most of his time as EIC of BlackBerry Cool, QB’s sister site. When not blogging about all things mobile, tr0n can be found fixing Kyle’s programming mistakes.

Matt “W4LNUT” Cameron

W4LNUT, or as we’ve taken to calling him, “Wallet”, has helped do any and every video you’ve seen on QuicklyBored that is remotely cool. If it wasn’t cool, it was done by Kyle. Before being a Level 99 Final Cut Warlock, Matt worked in the mobile games industry for about 2 years. His real creative juices flow when he does his VJ’ing sets for various bars and nightclubs around the city. All in all, he has been cultivating a career as a video artist for about 5 years. He is entirely self-taught and really good at what he does. If you’re ever in the Ottawa area, check out the Mercury Lounge, where he might grace you with his presence.

Simon Sage

Simon’s vertical superiority (he is 6′8″) is matched only by his scrutinous eye and hyperbolic vocabulary. Schooled in language, and tempered in a lifetime of technological immersion, his ongoing service to BlackBerry Cool brings concise information and thoughtful insights to those following the fastest-growing mobile platform out there. Simon contributes all things to do with BlackBerrys and entertainment.

Ted Mirsky

ted_mirsky_bio_pic

Ted eats, breathes and sleeps the consumer/prosumer end of the mobile industry. For the time being, Ted is currently being paid millions of won/month to act like a kid just outside of Seoul in South Korea. Amongst other things he looks forward to offering an outsiders look in, of the South Korean telecom industry while relentlessly trying to bed a Korean girl crazy enough to let him use her domestic credit card to get a mobile contract and escape the shackles that is a Korean pre-paid cell account. He also knows a thing or two about Rogers Retention plans.
