Magmic Games’ Wes Tam is up talking mobile games. The focus of his talk is copublishing a AAA mobile game with Hollywood. Magmic is launching a mobile game based on the movie Eagle Eye and Wes has had a really fun time making the game. He even got to tour the set for creative inspiration.

Trena of DISTIL is talking about mobile games for educational purposes. Talk about QuicklyBored. Just kidding! I think this company has great potential being that the youth are increasingly mobilized, and therefore their market is ever expanding. Her product demo featured a game for managers to be trained on an environmental management system.

CTIA 2008: SeeqPod brings music search to mobile


SeeqPod has a mobile app for both WinMo and iPhone. They’re also thinking of moving to Android. They also want to bring the search engine to carriers to expand their music search presence. Check out the elevator pitch.
