MocoSpace update: Ludacris and Fallout Boy interviews, new artists and more

on MocoSpace

MocoSpace is a great site for meeting people on your mobile who like the same music that you like. We haven’t talked about them since CTIA so I thought today would be a good time to give you an update about the company.

MocoSpace recently added a link for amateur artists to submit to create an artist profile and put their music on the site. There are a ton of artists on the site who may not be on recording labels but are putting out great music so this is a good opportunity for them to get their music out. Not only can artists submit their own music, but all members can put songs on their profiles. Right now the only songs you can choose from are from artists’ profiles but you’d be hard pressed to find another mobile social networking site that offers this.

What can you expect in the coming month? Ludacris will be doing an interview with MocoSpace on November the 24th, so be sure to check that out. Also, expect Fallout Boy to do an interview with MocoSpace in the coming months. I’ll keep you updated about that.

MocoSpace is celebrating their 4 millionth user and they’ve made the Alexa top 1000 in the US at number 752. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
