Rumor: HTC developing Touch HD Pro

HTC Touch HD Pro

A Touch HD Pro is a great idea. There are many situations where you’ll be much more comfortable typing on a keyboard than you would on a touch screen. Emails, for example, are best written on a keyboard. The BlackBerry Storm is supposed to revolutionize the way we type on a touch screen, but even they might be abandoning that format for the BlackBerry Magnum. The BlackBerry Magnum, for those who haven’t heard, is basically a BlackBerry Curve with a touch screen. Making it a heavy duty Treo-like device.

Size isn’t really a big deal for me because it usually means a bigger screen which is fine by me. That being said, I’m still curious to see how big the HTC Touch HD Pro will be.

I have been waiting for this phone, I am a current storm owner and love the device, despite its bad press, its a sold phone and
the click screen is great, my wife has an iphone and I am twice as fast on the Storm. I am not a winmo fan, but if version 7 of the OS is any good, I might give this phone a try. It will be tough giving up my Crackberry, but if Verizon gets it, I might just give it some run….
