The iPhone factory girl is cute and scared

I feel bad for the Internet famous iPhone Girl. If you haven’t heard, she’s the cute girl who works at the iPhone plant in China and had her pic taken and shipped with a line of iPhones. She’s overwhelmed with her overnight celeb status and told the press she’s “really scared by the media,” and might quit! So lets just give her some space.

Oh wait, I’m part of the problem aren’t I?

    Aww hell. 15 minutes of fame. It’s so fast now, it’s more like 15 seconds. Give her a raise, a promotion and use HER to help promote the iPhone in Asia. Geez, talk about free publicity waiting to happen. The new iPhones had some stumbles, the kill switch, difficulty unlocking, bad reception/dropped calls/faulty 3g and now a defective charger which could shock you. Put her smiling face on it. Jazz her up a little and boom, problem(s) solved (or at least mitigated somewhat).

    Unfortunately, in this age and time of rapid rises and notoriety/fame there is the rapid burnout. The term one hit wonder applies now to not just the bands of old which would rise and burn but possibly any new celeb’s career.

    But her and Sarah Palin in Bikinis together though, you’d have a hit. What kind of hit, I dunno, but definitely a hit.
