Tomorrow is the first official day of CTIA and Glu kicked off the night before with an awesome chef night. There were a few press, lots of Glu and mainly just friends getting reacquainted. The night went like this: The group of 20 or so attendees were split into 2 teams. Each team had a set list of ingredients and a set dessert. The ingredients included flank steak, potatoes, some herbs, corn and veggies. We then had to come up with a really delicious and impressive meal with those ingredients in 1 hour. The team with the best meal won sweet chef hats!
Here we are cooking our hearts out:

At the end, we had to present a completed plate to the judges for scoring. Team 1, my team, (The Rosemary Somethings - Sorry I forgot the team name) came up with this wonderful meal:

Team 2, named The Four C’s which stands for Crusty, Comfortable, Cool and Cauliflower (not really but I also can’t remember the name), put together this dish:

Team 2 won the contest but if you ask me, our flank steak was probably the best in San Fran.

Oh yeah, and we got loot bags. Thanks Glu!
