Good news for my American readers: Samsung has given the BlackJack II a fresh new paint job!
It’s not the entire phone that’s received a candy coloured makeover though. The smartphone’s have a white face with a pink or blue back panel, with either blue of pink tinted buttons.
And, as I said, it’s only the exterior that’s been given the make-over treatment. When it comes to specs, these are still the same. It still runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, has a full QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM connectivity and tri-band HSDPA connectivity. As well as that, it also packs built-in GPS, mobile TV capabilities, full HTML browser and a paltry 2 megapixel camera.

Unfortunately, it won’t be available to my UK readers, but it’s massive in the US and will probably prove to be a big hit.
Oh, and one last bit of good news for my US readers: the pink and blue BlackJack II handsets will stay the same price as the basic black and maroon coloured models.

I really loved the pink one when I saw it too — I’m nit-picky though, I would have loved to see the patterns reversed: squares on the pink one, circles on the blue one heh - but I’ll take what I can get!
Do you think they should have made the face pink too? When I look at the pics, I can’t help but think that it would look much cooler with hot pink buttons. Can you really have too much hot pink? Heh.
Lots of info on the BlackJack on my WinMo site (www.windowsmobilecool.com) — I’m actually just about to put up a post with some crazy tricks specifically for your phone, so be sure to check it out and thanks for the comment!
