Motorola patents giant ugly goggle phone

This product does not exist but why even bother making a patent for it? Motorola thinks people are actually going to flip open their phone and place it on their face like giant ugly goggles. Is it even possible to see through the phone? That would be a major oversight wouldn’t it? This is the last post of the week so I thought I would end on a note of absurdity.

Interesting idea actually. I’d think that people would at least be willing to strap an iphone to their faces to watch videos (eventually).

If it’s going to have Android (Google OS) on the phone, then it will probably be a tremendously worthwhile endeavor.

You obviously won’t be wearing this on your face while walking (At least for the first few generations), but this is the general direction that things are going. It’s flip open design is quite interesting. The only questions should be about comfort, durability and aesthetics.

Now, need to invent a phone that can easily by kicked up someone’s backside after snatching it from them, as punishment for driving obliviously while chatting away stupidly and not paying attention to where they’re going or what/who they’re about to run over or through. Suggestions for good potential names…?
