AIM beta now available for Windows Mobile phones

Yet another option is added to the available list; AOL is now running its IM’s beta on Windows Mobile phones. Sadly, this new beta is only available in the U.S. right now but I’m sure Canada will get it soon enough.
Here are some of the things you can do with AIM:

  • Update your status
  • Change your conversation style
  • Manage your Buddy List (for those random strangers you meet on the bus)

It’s supposed to look and feel just like its desktop counterpart and is supported by all Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 devices.

AIM for Windows Mobile is still in it’s beta and doesn’t currently have an update mechanism available but AOL assures us that future builds will be update friendly.
