Mobile games developer FISHLABS gets a new site

Just got this press release today regarding FISHLABS’ new site. Not sure how they came to the name FISHLABS but the logo is cool. The name has a place in our heart because our parent company Smoke Labs, is located above a fish market, we therefore like to joke about it being called Fish Labs. Anyhoozers, more info after the jump.

Comprehensive yet easy to use, with a contemporary design and many new functions. That describes the new website of FISHLABS, the leading developer for premium 3D mobile phone games. With its new website and its own online shop, FISHLABS has positioned itself as a direct provider of high-quality mobile games in the internet.

The new FISHLABS website focuses primarily on end users who are looking for mobile games on the Internet. At www.fishlabs.net, every mobile phone users can find detailed information on FISHLABS titles now. The special feature is that, besides extensive descriptions and feature lists for the mobile games, in-game videos and numerous screenshots are available for download. This way, potential customers can get an impression of FISHLABS’ award-winning high-quality 3D mobile games before buying.

But the new website offers even more advantages: by purchasing a mobile game directly on-line, customers can avoid the usual download fees; FISHLABS sends the mobile games via e-mail. Customers can then simply transfer the mobile games at home from their PC to their mobile phone via data cable or Bluetooth. This means greatest usability and transparency for all customers – extensive info on the games, no subscription, no hidden download fees. Therefore, the purchasing process has been tightly condensed to four steps – easy to use for everyone. Payment is possible via all common methods: credit card, direct debit, premium SMS, or PayPal.

With their new, state-of-the-art website, which was realised completely in-house, FISHLABS wants to get closer to its customers: the new visitor forum offers all FISHLABS customers and fans of mobile games a platform to discuss the latest games, compare successes, or offer each other help. In addition, FISHLABS will point out the latest test results from trade magazines such as Airgamer.de or Pocketgamer.co.uk, and provide other independent opinions and information on the games.

FISHLABS CEO Michael Schade summarises, ‘We believe the mobile games industry has reached a tipping point. In only a few years, mobile phones have improved tremendously in terms of display quality and processing power. Our 3D mobile games are pretty much on the same level as games for mobile consoles are. However, on mobile operators’ WAP portals mobile games are still marketed like ringtones. Innovation and quality in mobile games have barely chances to succeed this way. The time has come to sell our award-winning 3D mobile games directly to the consumer via internet. With comprehensive information on each title, hassle free purchasing process and no download fees.’
