I just got an HTC Dash here in the office that a friend picked up at GDC. It doesn’t work right now because it’s on T-Mobile so it needs to be unlocked before it can work here in Canada. As a phone it’s really a sleek and pro device. The full QWERTY keyboard is always appreciated and the keys are well defined and shaped to make for fast typing.
One of the first things you’ll notice is that the case for the Dash has a smooth rubber texture that feels really good in your hands. The back of the phone has a small mirror for the standard self portraits and a nice 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording.

Here is a quick breakdown of the technical specs from Mobiledia:
Network: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
Form Factor: PDA / Windows Mobile 5.0
Dimensions: 112 x 64 x 13 mm
Weight: 119 g
Antenna: Internal
Navigation: QWERTY Keypad / 5-Way Keypad
Battery Type: 960 mAh Li-Ion
Talk Time: 5.00
Standby Time: 216
Memory: 23.0 MB
Expandable Memory: microSD / TransFlash

Over the course of the next month or so, I’ll be tricking this phone a la BlackBerry Curve roundup we’ve been doing. Here is what we’re working with multimedia wise:
Wallpapers: 320 x 240 px
Screen Savers: 320 x 240 px
Ring Tones: MP3
