While I wait for my wicked awesome interview with Glu Mobile’s Jill Braff, I thought I’d hit you guys with some quick impressions from day 1 of BREW.
**Twitter Sucks** Seriously. Initiate a pay service so I don’t have my tweets go down during a great conference, forcing me to write up a full impressions post to keep our readers informed about the QB day to day.
**The sessions are GREAT** We arrived late in the afternoon yesterday, but the two we caught were dynamite. Anders Evju of I-Play gave a great talk about why essentially QuicklyBored exists (read Kyle’s thoughts here), and the flash lite panel moderated by Eric Goldberg has me wondering when I’ll be able to discover the next great mobile game via Facebook. Expect more on both to follow.
**The food is GREAT** Chicken dumplings. That’s all I’m going to say.
**No wi-fi is lame** Qualcomm, I love you, but I need to get my blog on from everywhere, not just the press room.
**I’m lost** Maybe it’s just the jet lag, but every year I come to the Manchester Grand Hyatt and have no idea how to navigate it. This place is huge.
**BREWfest** Lightning crashes. That’s all I’m going to say. Except, I heard a rumor that last year’s BREWfest dance competition winner is looking to defend her crown. I have 2:1 that she does, any takers?
