Uploading MP3s to the BlackBerry Curve

bberry dragndrop
It’s incredibly easy to load MP3’s to your BlackBerry once you have installed the media card. All you have to do is drag and drop into the music folder and you’re ready to rock. Now you have 1/4 of what’s needed to make your phone a sweet entertainment device. Next you need movies, games and a custom themes.

Once you plug your BlackBerry into the USB port, assuming you’ve downloaded the appropriate desktop software, your BlackBerry will prompt you to decide whether you want to turn Mass Storage Mode on. You will say “hell yeah!”

Next go to your huge database of illegaly downloaded MP3’s (are we seriously buying music anymore?) and drag them into the music folder. Done dizzy.

MP3, wav and wma’s are all good here so drag whatever you’d like into the folder. Make sure to rename your folders and MP3 files appropriately too because it makes the whole browsing and listening experience easier in the long run.

Stay tuned and we’ll show you how to load up some great software including a cover flow MP3 player.
