Flipside is a great MP3 player for the BlackBerry with iTunes like cover flow browsing. As you saw yesterday, it’s really easy to load MP3s to your BlackBerry and with cover flow, you’ve now got a really sleek looking MP3 phone.
To download Flipside, you can go to the BlackBerryCool store and buy a copy. At $19.95 it won’t be the cheapest software you’ve ever bought but if you’re going to be playing music on your phone a lot, you’ll want to have it.
I recommend that you download the program OTA because uploading it to your desktop and then putting it on your BlackBerry is a huge pain. Just have it sent to you via SMS.
After you’ve installed the program, Flipside will show you all of your music in a glorious cover flow style. If you’re missing album art, you can download it through Flipside in an incredibly user friendly manner. Just click on the album with the menu key, and use the ‘Find Album Art’ option.
