The Mobile Games Blog found out that Apple’s iPhone won’t be supporting Flash or Flash Lite in their upcoming SDK. The news comes directly from the mouth of Steve Jobs, speaking at the annual stockholder meeting. The reason given was that Flash “doesn’t run as expected” and Flash Lite would provide a poor user experience. There are a fair number of Flash and Flash Lite games out there, so this is sad news, but hopefully the SDK will offer some other compelling features for gaming.
