Namco has announced the release of a mobile version of Mr. Do! and its sequel, Mr. Do!’s Castle. The two classic arcade titles, which were demoed at the DigitalLife show last September, both feature a classic mode and a new enhanced mode with updated graphics and new levels and power-ups. In Mr. Do!, players must clear cherries from the game field while avoiding wild animals. Mr. Do!’s Castle takes place in the castle of Mr. Do! which has been overrun with wild unicorns. They must be cleared out before the Magical Clown Act begins.
“As one of the most well-known arcade classics among retro gamers, Mr. Do! and its sequel Mr. Do!’s Castle are games that are great for the mobile platform and the mobile gaming audience,†said Scott Rubin, vice president of sales and marketing at Namco. “The Mr. Do! franchise is a perfect example of how Namco Networks is bringing classic games to mobile, maintaining the authenticity of the classics that everyone knows and loves, while also offering game enhancements suited for next generation gamers.”
Both games are available on select carriers throughout North America.
