Vivendi Games Mobile’s The Incredible Machine was a hit at Spike TV’s 2007 Video Game Awards.
The puzzle game, which was based off a classic PC title, walked away with the award for Best Casual Mobile Game as well as a nomination for Mobile Game of the Year. Vivendi president Paul Maglione said the company was “extremely honored” to receive the award and “thrilled that such an established organization is recognizing the importance and popularity of mobile games.”
Maria Pacheco, the VP of marketing, gave the acceptance speech: “We are thrilled that this classic puzzle game has made such a huge come-back and winning this award reinforces Vivendi Games Mobile’s objective of developing state-of-the-art games and designing innovative marketing campaigns that take mobile gaming to the next level.”
