Namco launches BurgerTime Delight

Namco Networks has announced the launch of BurgerTime Delight, a remake of the classic arcade game.

Developed by G-mode, this update to the 1982 classic adds new level backgrounds and new characters, as well as mini-games and two game mode options: classic and enhanced. In the classic version, players take control of chef Peter Pepper and attempt to build burgers by the knocking the ingredients off platforms and onto plates on the bottom of the screen, all while avoiding the evil Mr. Hotdog, Mr. Egg, and Mr. Pickle. The enhanced version updates the graphics and adds new environmental dangers for Peter to avoid, as well as new enemies Mr. Garlic and Mr. Carrot.

“BurgerTime was such a popular ‘80’s classic with addictive game play that it only made sense for Namco Networks to bring this property to mobile phones and enhance the game play for mass-market consumers to enjoy,” said Scott Rubin, vice president of sales and marketing, Namco Networks. “G-mode has been a great partner for us and we are delighted to offer this mobile-only version of BurgerTime to casual mobile gamers.”

The game is available now on national carriers.
