Eidos has revealed a number of new titles they plan to release before this Christmas.
First up is Pandemonium, originally released on the Playstation in 1996. The platforming game stars Nikki, a student wizard, and Fargus, a slightly demented jester and acrobat. Together with a number of other characters, the two will have to make it through 18 3D worlds and a number of challenging boss fights.
Next is Sola Rola, which Edios originally revealed in August. The action/puzzle hybrid is built around the heroes Wiz and Waz, a pair of bloblike alien brothers who are the last hope to save the universe from the evil Ping the Merciless. The game features 25 levels and a soundtrack from The Maniacs of Noise. Also featured is a custom graphics engine that allows any object on the screen to be freely scaled and rotated for a number of interesting effects.
Championship Manager 2008 will be released alongside the PC version. Developed by Dynamo Games, CM2008 is a full-featured management sim featuring an easy-to-use interface and 2D match overlay specifically designed for phones.
They’ve also announced a mobile version Kane and Lynch, a co-op action game planned for release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Not much is known about this title yet.
Lastly, Tomb Raider: Anniversary Edition will be hitting phones to celebrate ten years of Lara Croft and her pair of guns. Developed by British company FinBlade, the game takes inspiration from the first 3 mobile Tomb Raider games and will see Lara visiting some new locations.
