Glu Mobiles has announced the European launch of World Series of Poker Pro Challenge.
Pro Challenge expands the series with improved graphics that allow you to better see your opponents’ reactions and tells. Your opponents have been expanded as well: Johnny Chan, Chris Ferguson, Shannon Elizabeth, Annie Duke, Scotty Nguyen and Michael Mizrachi all make an appearance in the game. Glu has also beefed up the AI and added a tilt meter. When the meter is full, players are said to be “on tilt,†a poker term meaning angry, upset, or confused and prone to be more revealing in their tells and more likely to make a mistake.
“We have worked with several of the world’s most accomplished and well-respected poker masters to bring the authenticity and excitement of the WSOP tournament experience to mobile gaming,” said Patrick Mork, Marketing Director of EMEA at Glu. “WSOP Pro Challenge’s stunning graphics, adaptive AI and authentic look and feel truly deliver the experience of going up against world-class poker pros.”
Glu originally released the game back in July throughout the US. The European release coincides with the first-ever official WSOP Europe Main Event, which began September 16th.
