Vivendi to use Exit Games’ Neutron 4.0

Vivendi Games Mobile has announced that they have signed a deal to make use of the Neutron 4.0 technology from Exit Games, reports MobileIndustry.biz.

Neutron 4.0 offers features like in-game voice chat; advanced presence, which allows users to see what their friends are playing; and alerts that pop up if a buddy challenges a user to a game. “Neutron technology will provide Vivendi Games Mobile with a way to capitalise on the next wave of 3G adoption, while giving carriers and operators a way to completely engage and entertain their customers,” said Tom Sperry of Exit Games.

Vivendi president Paul Maglione called the technology “innovative” and said it will help them provide customers with a “more sophisticated gaming experience.” The first title to use Neutron will be their upcoming game Navy Battle. Players will be able to communicate using VoIP during the turn-based battles.
