Namco releases Super Yum Yum 2

Namco Networks has announced Super Yum Yum 2, sequel to their popular puzzle game.

Players take on the role of Leon the Chameleon on a journey to save his family. As in the first game, Leon has to eat fruit to reach all his numerous children, but he can only eat fruit that matches the color of his skin, which changes to match to color of the leaves on any piece of fruit he eats. The sequel has 36 brand new levels spread across four worlds: jungle, beach, pond and space. There are also four minigames to beat, one at the end of each of the worlds, and the difficulty increases depending on how many of his children Leon has been able to save.

“As a fun and challenging puzzler that anyone can pick up and play, Super Yum Yum 2 is great for mobile phones,” said Scott Rubin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Namco Networks. “The mass-market appeal and award-winning game play of the Super Yum Yum series makes Super Yum Yum 2 a strong addition to our growing portfolio of casual games.”

The game is available now on select carriers worldwide.
