Glu Mobile and Warner Bros. sign deal

Glu Mobile has announced an agreement with Warner Bros. for rights to develop, market, and distribute titles based on upcoming movies and older content, including cartoon brands such as DC Comics, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbara.

A separate agreement with Warner Bros. will see Glu distributing certain mobile titles from Warner Bros. such as Ocean’s Thirteen and 300.

“Warner Bros. has an immense portfolio of properties loved by millions of people around the world, and we look forward to giving fans a way to experience great games on their mobile phones,” said Glu’s CEO, Greg Ballard. “This multi-year partnership with Warner Bros. reinforces Glu’s position as a leading independent publisher of mobile entertainment and speaks to our ability to develop and deliver quality content to consumers around the world.”
