THQ has announced that the wrestling game WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw will be coming to a number of platforms, including mobile phones.
The press release focuses mainly on the console versions of the game, however Bob Aniello of THQ promises a “unique handheld experience” for the game. The release mentions a number of features in the game, including Superstar Fighting Styles, a new struggle submission system, and more, but which of these are coming to the mobile platform is unclear.
Update: THQ has written us to say that the mobile version of the game will include both 2D and 3D modes, 3 game modes–Regular, Hardcore, and Cage–and a simple control scheme. The game also the ability to create and customize your own wrestler in addition to the 12 wrestlers–Cena, Orton, Triple H, Edge, HBK, Lashley, Snitsky, Corvon, Batista, Mysterio, Kane, Undertaker–that are already in the game.
