Joystick design for mobile phones

The folks at Mobile Magazine have posted a story regarding an interesting design for a joystick for mobile phones.

The joystick design works so that it can be pulled out for a quick bit of gaming, and easily pushed back in when the game is over. It’s not yet available on any phones, but it could easily be adapted for a wide range of handhelds: due to its reversible nature, it could work on flip phones and others that require a flat button surface.

The phone was first spotted on IndustrialDesign.ru, a design studio.
