Glu launches Project Gotham Racing Mobile

Glu Mobile recently announced the worldwide launch of the eagerly-awaited Project Gotham Racing Mobile. PGR Mobile was developed specifically for mobiles and is the first such adaptation of the popular series from Microsoft’s Xbox and Xbox 360 platform.

Players can choose from eight popular cars, each with its own physics and engine specifications, and earn “kudos” by drifting around corners, making use of other racers slipstreams (drafting), overtaking and getting air time over jumps. Extra bonuses are available for particularly skillful and stylish motoring where the player combines a series of kudos maneuvers.

“Project Gotham Racing is the number one action-oriented racing franchise, and PGR Mobile captures the high-quality gameplay with the style and speed true to the original franchise,” said Jill Braff, general manager of the Americas, Glu Mobile. “We’re excited to bring the first mobile adaptation of this award-winning franchise to mobile phones around the world.”

The game is now available via major wireless carriers in Europe, North and South America and Asia and will continue to launch worldwide in the coming months
