Speaking of Greystripe, they recently won the Bright Star for Mobile Marketing at this year’s Mobile Star Awards by Mobile Village.
Although the award sounds like something your preschool teacher gave you for spelling your name correctly, the award is actually quite an achievement. The Mobile Star Awards™ recognize top mobile products, success stories, and visionaries chosen by readers of MobileVillage’s free newsletter Go Mobile.
This year its readers chose free mobile games as one of the best mobile marketing concepts known as the AdWRAP Mobile In-Game Advertising network where consumers no longer have to pay $4-$12 per game by viewing ads before and after they play their favorite titles.
“We are honored that the mobile community has recognized our AdWRAP technology and the way it has revolutionized mobile marketing. We built Greystripe and Gamejump.com as ways to answer the demands of consumers, and so far we are excited to bring great games and applications for free to the mobile phone that are entirely supported by advertisements” states Greystripe CEO Michael Chang.
Greystripe’s AdWRAP network is unique as it takes advertisements and dynamically serves them through its network of mobile games. Full screen advertisements are wrapped around the mobile games using the now, award-winning technology.
The AdWRAP system currently serves ads into over 200 game titles from 33 publishers supporting over 800 handset models. The games are compatible with most handsets and carriers worldwide.
