Chinabyte, an IT online media and wireless VAS (value-added services) provider, is now ready to open its door to welcome global mobile entertainment publishers and developers.
Serving as a content provider for the world largest wireless operator China Mobile, Chinabyte also partners with China Unicom’s Uni-Magic, totaling a market reach of 6 million mobile subscribers in China.
“As many game publishers are seeking to tap into this Chinese market, we are now in the pole position to facilitate them in entering into this promising market due to our well established presence in China,” said CEO of Chinabyte, Yang Tao.
Eighty-three percent of China mobile phone users play games on their mobile phones and that leads to a massive influx of global game developers into Chineses market.
“In order to receive an overwhelming response from the Chinese market, these game developers need to enter our market properly. Our full pipeline of new growth opportunities will definitely help the global game developers to penetrate into this substantial market with more than 600 million mobile subscribers,” added Yang.
“With the projection of Asia Pacific region will continue to dominate the mobile games market, accounting for nearly half of worldwide games revenues in 2011, we strongly believe that we will poised for further growth in this emerging industry,” said Yang.
