Fun BurgerAustralian game developer Fun Burger announces “Pocket English” a language training game for Mobile Phones!

Melbourne, Australia - September 26, 2006 Fun Burger announced today that the first iteration of its language training game Pocket English has been completed for mobile phones.

“Who said that learning a new language should be expensive and time-consuming? Now people who want to memorize important words, sentences and learn grammar can do it all from their mobile phone.” said Fun Burger CEO Mick Solomons. “Theres no need to carry around heavy textbooks, you can study anywhere and anytime. With downloadable content being made available every month, the player will be able to customize their learning by subject matter and difficulty.”

Pocket English makes learning fun and also improves the players memory by using a series of short mini-games including word-picture recognition, spelling and grammar puzzles as well as audio questions (audio questions only available on certain phones due to memory constraints).

Fun Burger can also easily customize the game for users who want to learn other languages such as French, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.

Fun Burger is actively seeking distribution partners for all territories as well as publishing partners for the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS version of the game.

Pocket English was developed with the assistance of Film Victoria’s Digital Media Fund.
