TCS Mobile, a company that specializes in wireless marketing, has announced the launch of Games Gone Mobile. Games Gone Mobile will be a three-day event presented by Cingular Wireless that will visit ten cities across America to promote consumer adoption of mobile gaming.
Games Gone Mobile will begin in Chicago on August 11th, visiting Boston, New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Las Vegas and San Francisco before culminating in Los Angeles on October 15th.
With support from publishers such as EA Mobile, Sony Pictures Mobile and Oasys, Games Gone Mobile will encourage the use of LG handsets to download and play mobile games.
Stephen O’Shea, TCS Mobile’s president and founder, commented: “The fact is that most consumers aren’t aware that mobile games even exist - and those that do usually equate the experience with low-tech single-player titles.”
“Games Gone Mobile was created as a platform to show off the rich multimedia gaming experience available today on the mobile phone and show consumers just how far mobile gaming has come - and how easy it is to download and play,” he added.
This event will be helpful to increase awareness that mobile games actually exist and they can be really fun to play. Many consumers are still totally unaware that mobile games can be downloaded from their phone.
