Mobitween, a Paris-based mobile games developer, has announced that it is ready to being expanding its games portfolio. Mobitween will be distributing these games across the US and Europe. Mobitween specializes in the development of flash games for the mobile platform.
The company has some good prospects such as implementing network play (yea!), SMS billing (dang) and try-before-you-buy games (good for whack games).
Philippe Chassany, Mobitween’s CEO, commented: “Our first phase of development is now complete. With this first round secured and the significant interest we have received from the mobile gaming market, we are now ready to focus on extending our distribution partnerships with mobile operators, handset manufacturers and content providers.”
“With the acceleration of web-mobile convergence and growing availability of rich-media handsets, we have garnered significant interest from the mobile entertainment industry,” Chassany continued.
“Operators, manufacturers, publishers, leading brands and IP owners are seeing for the first time an interactive graphics environment that meets their expectations for deployment on mobile devices.”
So looks like we’re going to see some very pretty games from these people and QuicklyBored will be ready to throw them all into the whackness pile…Kidding I’m sure their will be a couple hotness.
