Yeah, so it’s not really mobile gaming news. Deal with it. Any way to get Mario on your mobile is a good thing, even if it only serves as a reminder of all the fun you’re not having with your cell phone.
GamesIndustry.biz is reporting that, starting Dec 5th, Nintendo will offer WAP-enabled cell phone users to download ringtones and wallpapers based upon their ubiquitous intellectual properties. Perfect for the revisionist, 80’s loving hipster in all of us! The QuicklyBored staff recommends the Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda: OoT ringtones to start out with.
Maybe one day our cell phones will be graced with the presence of a real Mario game to satisfy the Nintendo fan in all of us. Sigh.
